The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 36 Ref. 126000-0016 is a contemporary interpretation of Rolex’s purest and most essential watch, distinguished by its vibrant multicoloured Jubilee-motif dial. Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, this reference combines the timeless simplicity of the Oyster Perpetual with a playful, highly distinctive dial inspired by Rolex’s iconic Jubilee design.
The dial features the Rolex name repeated in a graphical Jubilee motif, executed in no fewer than ten contrasting colours. Each colour is applied individually, requiring exceptional precision to ensure the intricate pattern is perfectly aligned. The result is a striking and modern dial while retaining the clean, highly legible character of the Oyster Perpetual.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3230, a self-winding mechanical movement equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve and is certified as a Superlative Chronometer, with Rolex specifying precision of -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
The watch is completed by Rolex’s classic Oyster bracelet, featuring broad three-piece solid links and an Oysterclasp with Easylink comfort extension.
