The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph Ref. 5968A-001 is the first chronograph introduced within the Aquanaut collection, combining the line’s contemporary sporty character with Patek Philippe’s sophisticated flyback chronograph technology. Its stainless-steel case is paired with a striking sunburst charcoal-grey dial with a black-gradient rim and the collection’s signature embossed Aquanaut pattern.

Orange chronograph indications provide a vivid contrast against the dark dial, including the central chronograph hand and 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock. The watch also incorporates a date aperture at 3 o’clock, while applied white-gold Arabic numerals and baton hands feature white luminescent coating for enhanced legibility.

At its heart is Patek Philippe Calibre CH 28-520 C, a self-winding flyback chronograph movement with a vertical clutch. The movement combines a column-wheel chronograph mechanism with a vertical clutch, allowing the central chronograph hand to also function as running seconds. It provides a power reserve of 45 to 55 hours and operates at 4 Hz.

The watch is delivered with two ultra-resistant composite straps: a black strap fitted as standard and an additional orange strap that echoes the chronograph accents. Both are secured by Patek Philippe’s patented stainless-steel fold-over clasp.

Patek Philippe Calibre CH 28-520 C, self-winding mechanical flyback chronograph with vertical clutch and column-wheel control. The movement measures 30mm in diameter and 6.63mm thick, contains 308 components and 32 jewels, operates at 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour (4 Hz), and offers a 45–55 hour power reserve. STRAP
Black composite strap fitted as standard, supplied with an additional orange composite strap. Both feature the embossed Aquanaut pattern and are secured by a patented stainless-steel Patek Philippe fold-over clasp with four independent catches.
